Justina Paskeviciute BSc (Hons) RVN
Hi, I’m Justina and I joined the enthusiastic and caring Team of Vets and Nurses at the Vet Whetstone as Head Nurse in May 2016.
I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse from the Royal Veterinary College in 2015 and followed on studying at this University to achieve my Bachelor of Science Degree in 2016.
My degree courses involved work placements with several Small Animal Clinics; a busy charity hospital and a large referral centre.
I am very passionate about animal welfare, wildlife conservation and nature. After completing my Degree Course, I was very pleased to be able to take time off from work to do an exciting conservation medicine and wildlife nursing course in South Africa.
At The Vet Whetstone we see a wide range of medical conditions. Whilst I enjoy all aspects of nursing, including the Nurse Clinics we run at The Vet Whetstone where I help clients with their pets’ weight management, nutrition and preventative care, I particularly enjoy nursing our client’s pets back to good health – I find this the most satisfying part of my work! I am a trained Clinical Coach and support our Student Veterinary Nurses with their training at our practice – I love teaching and passing on my knowledge and experience to them.
In my spare time I love travelling, being outdoors and going out with friends. I am very keen on sporting pastimes – including horse riding, ice skating, skiing and most recently, tennis.
