Microchipping for pets in Whetstone, North London
Microchipping is a quick and simple procedure that can be done in a consultation that helps re-unite you with your dog or cat should they go wandering from home. When we microchip your pet all the relevant details are registered on a national database.
For tiny puppies and kittens we have special mini-microchips that use smaller needles. We often find that puppies are too busy munching on the tasty liver treats we give them to even notice being microchipped.

Lost Pet Procedure
When a lost pet is brought into any vet’s surgery they will be scanned for a chip. This means it’s extremely important that you keep your address and telephone details up to date on the national microchip database. If you rehome your dog then you must notify the microchip company of the details of any new owners. If you have lost your dog, please contact the microchip company, your local vets and the dog warden.
